Objectives	To train professionals to undertake activities associated with the basic design (appropriate choice of machinery, diesel motors, gas and steam turbines, electric motors and generators etc.) and the project for mechanical, electrical, fluid and control systems for ships, rigs and offshore devices and with the processes for their construction, repair, conversion and maintenance, and inspection of work in their chosen field. To enable students to operate and maintain systems on board ships, etc. in service through practical training of servicing and operating these systems. To enable students to design hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Specialisation	The proposed includes a single itinerary or specialisation in Propulsion and Services.
